Palo Alto, CA -- The City of Palo Alto Recreation Special

is required for youth groups and the Palo Alto Weekly Float contest.
The entry deadline is Friday, April 18, 2003. Applications are not
required for individual entries. Individual kids who show up by
9:45 a.m. the morning of the parade can march in one of three categories,

NBC-11 news anchors Lisa Kim and Allen Denton will serve as this

entertainment from local high school and junior high school marching
bands, and thousands of children skipping, skating, cycling, and
strolling through downtown Palo Alto. The parade begins at 10 a.m.

After the parade, be sure to stop by Addison School to enjoy food,
music, games, and a school showcase at the 1st Ever Town Fair, hosted
by the All Schools Fund.
