Management Class Open to Public

Palo Alto, CA -- Members of the community and local business
are invited to participate in an Accelerated Degree Program being
offered through the City of Palo Alto.
"A better educated workforce is an asset to the City, and
if space is available for residents as well, then it's a win-win
for all of us," says Training and Development Manager Charlotte
Carlson. "The class will focus on communicating in groups,
since today's organizations are much more team-focused," adds
Carlson.
The course is called Group Discussion and Meeting Management and
the class meets Tuesday and Thursday, from 4 pm to 7:40 pm at the
Cubblerley Community Center, 4000 Middlefield Road, Palo Alto, Room
H-5. The class runs eight weeks, from January 28 through March 25.
The class is interactive, using discussion, small group projects
and individual assignments. The class is a cooperative program between
Foothill College and the City of Palo Alto. For more information,
fees and registration details, contact Melody Vega at the City of
Palo Alto at 329-2126.
