Palo Alto, CA -- On Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at 2:15 pm, Palo Alto Police received a 911 call reporting that someone had thrown a “Molotov Cocktail” at the Unity Palo Alto Community Church, located at 3391 Middlefield Road.

Police officers responded to the church and found a soda bottle filled with flammable liquid. The bottle had been thrown and landed near the church in a creek area. The incendiary device lit some leaves on fire but was quickly extinguished. The church did not suffer any damage. The fire department did not respond to the scene.

The Reverend from the Church called police to report the incident.
