| Suspects
in Vehicle Harass Juvenile Female
|
Palo Alto, CA -- On
September 22, 2006, at 4:55 hours, a female student was waiting
for a ride home in front of Jordan Middle School . An older model,
red, two door convertible with a black top and a plastic rear window
pulled to the curb near where the student was waiting. There were
four Hispanic males in the car.
The front
seat passenger yelled out of the car to the student asking her to
come take a ride with them. The two males in the rear seat of the
vehicle laughed and the driver also attempted to persuade the victim
to get into the car. The victim, using her head, ran away from the
curb and watched the suspects flee the area east bound on North
California Avenue and turned left onto North bound Louis Road.
The front
seat passenger was a Hispanic male with short, spiky dark hair,
wearing a short sleeve brown t-shirt between mid twenties and thirties.
The other
suspects in the vehicle were all described as Hispanic males with
dark hair also in their mid twenties to mid thirties.
Parents and
teachers should remind children to do what this victim did. Walk
away from danger and head towards a location of safety such as a
school or other adults and children.
Anyone with
information regarding this incident should call the Palo Alto Police
Department at (650) 329-2413.
