Palo Alto, CA – Downtown residents and business owners are invited to an informal community meeting on Wednesday, November 9 th from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Downtown Branch Library at 270 Forest Avenue . 

The Library is hosting this meeting for two reasons:

•  to offer neighbors the opportunity to see changes in the floor plan of the Downtown Branch that will be implemented when some library support operations are relocated from the Main Library; and

•  to discuss neighbors' priorities for services, programs and collections offered at the branch. 

Library Director Paula Simpson will host the meeting, answer questions, and invite suggestions from attendees. “We want library users to have a first-hand look at the space plans for the Branch,” said Library Director Paula Simpson.  “We also want to hear priorities for collections and programs, so that we can incorporate these ideas into library improvements.”
