Workshop to Design the Rail Corridor for the Future

The Palo Alto Rail Program -- now called Connecting Palo Alto – is a community based process to address long-standing challenges associated with four at-grade crossings on the Caltrain corridor that run through the community.

Community feedback and collaboration are a vital part of the decision making process. That's why you’re invited to attend the second Connecting Palo Alto Community Workshop as we evaluate the potential grade separations at Charleston Road, Meadow Drive, Churchill Avenue and Palo Alto Avenue (Alma Street).

The Connecting Palo Alto Workshop will take place on:

Saturday, Sept. 16
10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Palo Alto Art Center Auditorium
1313 Newell Road

Among the workshop objectives:

-review a final problem statement
-evaluate criteria for the project
-identify what should be examined at each crossing
-develop alternatives for further study
