About this Event California's extreme drought reminds us that water conservation is always a smart idea. The City teamed up with the Tuolumne River Trust, Palo Alto Online and Palo Alto Weekly, Project Enybody, KEEN, non-profits and environmental organizations to host activities at the Palo Alto Baylands. We thank Palo Alto Mayor Pat Burt and City Council for their support, as well as all the representatives from the City Manager’s Office, Community Services, Utilities, Office of Emergency Services, Police, Fire, Public Works and local youth and community organizations who came out to join the approximately 200 race participants. Attendees enjoyed a fun-filled day with raffle prizes, music, goodies, and a chance to catch the “running toilet!”
Even cops try to save water by stopping a "running toilet!" Watch our video here.
