The City kicked off the update to its Comprehensive Plan with a reunion on May 8 for members of the advisory committee who worked on the 1998 plan. Community members and staff gathered together at Avenidas to reminisce on all of the hard work they put into helping to craft the previous award-winning Comprehensive Plan.
The City's Comprehensive Plan is its primary tool for guiding future development and includes the City’s official vision on land use, housing, circulation, natural resources, economics and public services.
The update process will pick up speed this summer and will require robust community engagement.
