The ten finalists for the City Apps Challenge will be announced at a reception and press briefing on Thursday, March 13 beginning at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall.
The Apps Challenge builds on the success of last year's nationally recognized CityCamp Palo Alto held as part of the First Annual National Day of Civic Hacking. The 2014 challenge continues the momentum of building civic engagement between local government and its citizens. With 74 submissions, only 10 were chosen as finalists with prizes eventually awarded to three as part of a finale event that will be live streamed on May 31.
