SFEI Presentation of Historical Changes to Lower SF Creek Floodplain
On April 23, 2009, Robin Grossinger of the San Francisco Estuary Institute made this presentation to the JPA Board regarding the historical changes to the lower San Francisquito Creek floodplain. The presentation shows how the land uses, vegetation, construction of levees, and stream configuration in the San Francisquito Creek floodplain downstream of present-day Highway 101 changed from the 1800's through to the present.
