Palo Alto / Mountain View Reclaimed Water Pipeline Project

Palo Alto and Mountain View are constructing a pipeline to carry recycled water from the Palo Alto Regional Water Quality Control Plant to customers along East Bayshore Parkway and in Mountain View’s North Bayshore area.

Construction Update: [Date: 6/9/08]

  • The contractor’s night crew is installing 24-inch- and 30-inch-diameter ductile iron pipe in Palo Alto’s East Bayshore Road weeknights (i.e., 7:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. excluding Friday night) in June, July, and August.
  • The contractor’s Palo Alto day crew will install 30-inch-diameter ductile iron pipe in Embarcadero Road, Embarcadero Way, and the RWQCP through the end of June.
  • The contractor’s Mountain View day crew will be installing PVC pipe in Casey Avenue and Marine Way until the end of June.
