Palo Alto / Mountain View Reclaimed Water Pipeline Project
Palo Alto and Mountain View are constructing a pipeline to carry recycled water from the Palo Alto Regional Water Quality Control Plant to customers along East Bayshore Parkway and in Mountain View’s North Bayshore area.

The contractor’s night crew is installing 24-inch- and 30-inch-diameter ductile iron pipe in Palo Alto’s East Bayshore Road weeknights (i.e., 7:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. excluding Friday night) in June, July, and August.
The contractor’s Palo Alto day crew will install 30-inch-diameter ductile iron pipe in Embarcadero Road, Embarcadero Way, and the RWQCP through the end of June.
The contractor’s Mountain View day crew will be installing PVC pipe in Casey Avenue and Marine Way until the end of June.
