Wood Pole Inspection Project

Project Scope

This project involves inspecting, testing, treating, and reinforcing 800 wooden utility poles within the City of Palo Alto Utilities service area. The purpose is to check for any decay from termites, carpenter ants, fungus and general age deterioration. Utilities Contractor, Osmose Utilities Services, has been hired to perform the inspections and treatment.

Many utility poles are located behind residential properties and will require the contractor to enter backyards. A representative of Osmose Utilities Services will contact customers prior to entering the backyard. A copy of the notice is provided here for your reference.

Please do not hesitation to contact us with any questions or concerns.
