PALO ALTO AIRPORT

The City of Palo Alto is Developing Primary Management and Compliance Documents (PMCDs) for the Airport. As part of the public process, we are seeking your input. Rules and Regulations sets forth the rules and regulations for the safe, orderly, and efficient use of the Airport to protect the public health, safety, interest, and welfare on the Airport.

 

Minimum Standards sets forth the minimum requirements that need to be met to engage in commercial aeronautical activities at the Airport.

 

Leasing/Rents and Fees Policy sets forth the parameters for leasing airport land and improvements and outlines the process for establishing and adjusting airport rents and fees.

 

Palo Alto Airport (airport) is located within a half mile of Highway 101. Airport staff is dedicated to promoting aviation while working cooperatively with residents of Palo Alto and surrounding communities. The airport is a general aviation field, owned and operated by the City of Palo Alto and is a general aviation field. In addition to being the tenth busiest single runway airport in California, PAO is a reliever to three Bay Area airports. The airport has one paved runway 13/31, measuring 2,443 × 70 feet. 


The terminal building  is available to transient pilots and visitors with Wi-Fi, seating, restrooms and parking for vehicles adjacent to the terminal.  Vehicle parking is free for the first 8 hours.

Existing airport tenants can update their account information by completing the Account Update Form and e-mailing it to pao@cityofpaloalto.org

Airport operations, facility and field maintenance, and tie-down services are handles by airport staff located in the terminal building.
