OVERVIEW In July 2010, City Manager James Keene kicked off an effort to redesign the customer experience at the Development Center in Palo Alto. By October 2010, the project blueprint was in place. City staff, leadership, and customer teams have been set up to design and implement structural changes that improve efficiency and enhance the customer experience at the Development Center. This initiative will be fully implemented by September 2011.
