The work to be performed, in general, consists of furnishing all labor, equipment material and transportation required to perform the Work for the Mayfield Soccer Complex Synthetic Turf Replacement Project. Work under this contract includes, but is not limited to Public notification, traffic control, removal and discarding of existing synthetic turf, installation of new synthetic turf at existing fields, grading and preparation for new synthetic turf at perimeter of existing fields, and installation of new synthetic turf at perimeter of existing fields, including all incidental and related work as required by the Scope of Work in the IFB available upon request. Note: The Bidder to whom the Contract will be awarded must, at the time of bid submittal, possess current licenses in the following classification issued by the California State Contractors License Board: Class A/General Engineering Contractor or Class C-27/Landscaping Contractor or Class C61 Limited Specialty/D-12 Synthetic Products Contractor. Bidder’s subcontractors must also be properly licensed. This Project is subject to prevailing wages. Bidders/contractors and subcontractors must register with the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) to perform public work pursuant to Section 1725.5.

A pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for Wednesday, May 20, 2015. The Conference shall begin promptly at 11:00 a.m. and shall be held at the jobsite, Mayfield Soccer Complex – 2700 El Camino Real, Palo Alto, CA. The Conference is not mandatory. All prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend.

The City of Palo Alto is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide security guard services at three rail crossings. Track guards will be stationed at three rail crossings (Churchill/Meadow/Charleston) from 0415 – 0230 hours (or until the last freight train passes through Palo Alto) every day of the year. The vendor will provide general crossing assistance and will report any incidents of people lingering near the rail crossings or engaging in a behavior that is contrary to personal safety. This is a potential three year contract. The required services and performance conditions are described in the Scope of Work (or Services).

The City of Palo Alto is seeking proposals for professional services from qualified firms to provide and implement an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system to enhance the Utilities department customer service call center operations and provide a 24X7 communication option to the customers. The required services and performance conditions are described in the attched Scope of Services.

A non-mandatory pre-proposal conference will be held Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. in the 4th Floor “Glass” Conference Room, 250 Hamilton Avenue, Palo Alto, CA. As an alternate a tele-conference is available at the same time and date.
