The City of Palo Alto is seeking bids to construct and install physical security (cameras and door contacts) at Adobe Creek, Maybell and Colorado Substation, including all incidental and related work as required by Construction Documents (Project).
A MANDATORY pre-Bid Conference and Site Tour are scheduled for Tuesday, March 24, 2015. The Conference shall begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. The conference shall be held at Utilities Department, Conference Room 1, 1007 Elwell Court, Palo Alto with the site tour immediately following the conference meeting. The conference and tour are both mandatory. All prospective Bidders must attend.
The Bidder to whom the Contract will be awarded must, at the time of bid submittal, possess current licenses in the following classification issued by the California State Contractors License Board: The prime contractor for this work shall possess a valid State of California Contractor’s License in the following category:
Class C-7 (Low Voltage) and Class C-10 (Electrical).
Note: The security systems contractor must hold a C-7 license, the contractor or subcontractor installing the conduit and electrical devices on the project must hold a valid C-10 license. Bidder’s subcontractors must also be properly licensed
The scope of work for the King Plaza Improvement Project Consists of: Irrigation
renovation, planting, decomposed granite and header board installation, electrical
lighting installation and site furnishing assembly.
The Bidder to whom the Contract will be awarded must, at the time of bid submittal, possess current licenses in the following classification issued by the California State
Contractor’s License Board: Class: # A( General Engineering) or C27 ( Landscaping contractor).
Contractor Bidder’s subcontractors must also be properly licensed.
The City of Palo Alto is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide services to Sale of 9,592 square feet of Transferable Development Rights (TDR) from the Roth Building located at 300 Homer Street. These TDR’s do not contain a parking exemption and any development associated with such TDR’s must comply with the City’s Parking Code. The required services are described in the Scope of Services.

The City of Palo Alto is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide professional services for on-call engineering services for the Regional Water Quality Control Plant (RWQCP). The required services and performance conditions are described in the Scope of Services.
The City of Palo Alto is seeking proposals from qualified engineering firms to provide environmental database management, computer programming and computer system assistance in Public Works Watershed Protection.
The required services and performance conditions are described in the Scope of Services. The annual budgeted amount is $80,000 per year for a total of three years.

The City of Palo Alto is seeking proposals from companies specializing in the auctioning and remarketing of automobiles, trucks, trailers, construction equipment, and miscellaneous automotive items. The City reserves the right to select multiple auctioneers based on their area of expertise as shown in their proposal. The required services and performance conditions shall cover a maximum period of three years as described in the Request for Proposals (RFP) attached.
A non-mandatory pre-proposal conference will be held Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Municipal Services Center, Equipment Management, 3201 East Bayshore Road, Palo Alto, CA. All prospective Proposers are strongly encouraged to attend. Parking is available in the visitor parking lot outside the gate to the facility.
