This project is the HVAC upgrade of the Foothills Park Interpretive Center, and it includes the following: 1) demolition/removal of existing HVAC units and associated ductwork, 2) installation of new interior HVAC fan coil units, 3) installation of new exterior HVAC condenser units, 4) modifications of existing mechanical, electrical, and piping systems as required by the new work, and 5) remove existing 45 KV electrical transformer and install a new 75 KV electrical transformer. City of Palo Alto to provide HVAC units, condensers, and transformer.

Note:
A mandatory pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for Wednesday, December 3, 2014. The Conference shall begin promptly at 10:30 a.m., and shall be held at Foothills Park Interpretive Center located at 11799 Page Mill Road, Los Alto, CA. All prospective Pre-qualified Bidders must attend.

The estimated cost of construction is $120,000.

The City of Palo Alto Community Services Department, Open Space, Parks and Golf Division is seeking bids to renovate Scott Park. One bridge completed within the last decade (lead architect or engineer must have designed and constructed one bridge after 9/1/2004)• design teams will have a licensed architect, licensed landscape architect and a licensed engineer • design teams shall comply with Design Guidelines

Design teams will not be interviewed, the jury will review written materials only.
Design teams do not need to be invited, all teams that meet minimum requirements are encouraged to submit qualifications.

The City of Palo Alto is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide professional services for more effectively managing its Downtown parking facilities, and is accepting proposals from qualified contractors for the turn-key specification and installation of Parking Guidance Systems (PGS) at garage entry points and Parking Access and Revenue Control (PARC) equipment in at least two of its Downtown parking garages. The contract will require the supply of PGS and PARC system equipment, computer hardware and software (or hosted solution), interconnection of hardware devices, testing and programming, training, installation and warranty of a fully integrated system for the City’s Downtown parking facilities. Further, the qualified firm should include a quote for installation/ de-installation for a series of 66 full color, reusable, high-quality (such as 18 ounce "blockout" vinyl with reinforced sleeves and additional grommet supports), 72 inches high by 30 inches wide outdoor banners on light poles in the downtown.
