The City of Palo Alto Utilities Department is seeking bids from qualified firms to provide services for installation of sanitary sewer mains, laterals, manholes and appurtenances perform system tie-ins, performance of required testing, and excavation, recycling and surface restoration. The City of Palo Alto is seeking bids from qualified firms to repair and retrofit facilities at the Palo Alto Regional Water Quality Control Plant. Work for this project includes all labor, materials and equipment necessary for the construction of the project including structural, concrete, and repairs on tanks, basins, pipe, platforms, and structural members in accordance with the project documents, plans, and specifications.
The Bidder to whom the Contract will be awarded must at the time of bid submittal possess a current license in the following classification issued by the California State Contractors License Board: Class A, General Engineering Contractor. Bidder’s subcontractors must also be properly licensed.

The City is seeking Proposals from interested companies to permit, design, build, operate and maintain (DBOM) a Compost Facility to be located on the relatively flat 3.8-acre portion of the Measure E site in accordance with the requirements in the Scope of Services. The City will act as owner and financier. The Compost Facility will utilize Aerobic Composting. Services are to be provided for a 20-year period following the commencement of full-scale operations. This RFP covers the aerobic composting of residential Yard Trimmings and Residential Food Scraps. Proposers must submit a price for Yard Trimmings mixed with Residential Food Scraps (Base Case) and for Yard Trimmings only (Required Alternative Proposal), subject to the required services described in the Scope of Services.

The City of Palo Alto’s Public Art Program is seeking proposals from Consultants, Consultant Teams and Qualified firms with demonstrated experience in public art master planning to develop the first Public Art Master Plan for the City of Palo Alto, California. The Master Plan will provide direction to the Public Art Program Staff, the Public Art Commission, and the City Council on the planning and processes necessary to further develop, administer and maintain a dynamic public art program in the City of Palo Alto. The selected Consultant will work collaboratively with the City Staff and the Public Art Commission to ensure broad public outreach and involvement in the development of the Master Plan.
