Helpful Hints When Searching:
Use Descriptive Key Words - Break down your topics into key concepts such as unique
words, distinctive names, abbreviations, or acronyms to minimize retrieving irrelevant
information.
Example: parks, volunteer, sustainability
Use Quotation Marks - If you have more than one keyword, put the words in quotation
marks. Do this when looking for a distinctive phrase, a proper name, or organization. It
narrows your results better than combining the keywords with "AND."
Example: “foothills park” “family resources” “public safety” “emergency preparedness”
