During Earth Month (March 25 to April 26), step up your commitment to the environment. Join Mayor Klein, Council Member Barton, and Council Member Burt in going on a low-carbon diet. Each of these three Council Members has pledged to reduce his carbon footprint by 1,000 lbs in the coming year. The average household in Palo Alto contributes more than 11,000 lbs of CO2 to the atmosphere each year.
