Landscape Efficiency Standards
The Palo Alto Municipal Code incorporates a set of standards that are applied to any new or renovated landscape for commercial, industrial, multi-family common area, or City Facility projects with 1500 square feet of landscaped area. The Code requires that these plans meet the requirements of the City of Palo Alto Landscape Water Efficiency Standards before a building or grading permit is issued.
