To supplement the residential and commercial recycling programs, the City of Palo Alto offers a Recycling Drop-off Center, which accepts materials that may not be accepted at the curb. The Recycling Drop-Off Center also accepts large quantities of material to be recycled with minimal preparation for materials such as large corrugated cardboard boxes.
Location:
The Recycling Drop-Off Center is located at the East end of Embarcadero Road across from Byxbee Park.
Directions
Take Embarcadero Road east, to the end of the road by the bay. At the stop sign, turn right. The Recycling Drop-Off Center is on the right just before the Landfill.
Hours of Operation:
Open seven days a week, 8AM - 5 PM.
