On November 2008, 48 enthusiastic Palo Alto kids wrote a letter to the new President stating what he should do over his four-year term. After the writing contest was completed, all the letters were sent to the White House on January 20, 2009.
Six months later on Friday, June 12, 2009, the Palo Alto City Library received a response from President Obama. Come check out the letter along with an autographed picture in the glass case in front of the Children's Library.
