Looking for a Good Read?

Palo Alto City Library offers BookLetters, a product that allows customers to sign up for electronic newsletters or browse awards lists.  Besides the numerous genre or age related newsletters offered by BookLetters, the Library has created their own, such as PACL Kids and the Teen Zone.   You can subscribe to What's Going On @ the Library to receive a newsletter about events, programs or book related occasions.

Included in BookLetters:

  • Books on the Air - did you hear about a book on the radio or see an author on TV?  This list comes out at the end of the week with a list of what was on.
  • Fiction and non fiction bestsellers lists from the New York Times
  • Kids picture books and chapter books
  • An Audio list of new books on CD
  • Over 35 awards lists for all ages and genres
  • and more!

Take a look and browse the lists.  You can sign up for as many as you want - it is easy to cancel a list once you receive it with a link at the bottom.  You can select either email or RSS feeds for delivery.
