Recreation Swim

Bring your family to the pool!  The City of Palo Alto offers Recreation Swim at both Rinconada Pool in the spring, summer and fall and at JLS Middle School pool during the summer.

Our facilities:

Rinconada Pool (777 Embarcadero Road): Rinconada's wading pool is amazing place for young ones to enjoy the water. It boasts features like "lemon drop" geysers, a circular waterfall, “Aqua-ducks” (water bicycles that squirt water), a zero depth “beach” area ideal for infants and a small slide. The maximum depth is 3 feet. The lap pool is fun for swimmers of all ages. We have two diving boards, a shallow area, middle-depth area and three lanes for lap swimming.  Both pools are heated to 80 degrees.

JLS Middle School Pool (480 East Meadow Drive): JLS is available for lap and recreation swimmers alike who want to escape the crowds. JLS pool is 4 feet deep in the shallow end and 9 feet deep in the deep end.
