The Junior Museum & Zoo depends upon the generous contributions of time and financial support from the community, through the Friends of the Junior Museum & Zoo. The non-profit Friends has two objectives: to act as the Junior Museum & Zoo's advocate in the community and to raise funds beyond those provided by the City of Palo Alto. The Friends support the East Palo Alto Science Outreach Program and an annual museum exhibit, as well as member programs and community outreach. Sponsoring an Event Individuals and businesses are invited to sponsor the Friends popular members-only events such as Dads & Doughnuts. In return for a sponsorship donation, the donor's name appears on flyers, invitations, advertising, the newsletter and on the donor wall in the museum lobby - seen by our 100,000+ annual visitors.
