Description: Human Services Division provides assistance to people in need through funding grants to non-profit organizations for services such as: senior services, child care subsidy, mediation, domestic violence prevention, disability, food, health care, counseling, legal assistance mental health, and youth. Staff works with the City of Palo Alto Human Relations Commission, various task forces and committees. Child and Family Resources provide referrals of licensed and accredited child care providers in the city to families.
The Cubberley Community Center is a fill service community center for youth and adult sports, visual and performing arts, education, counseling, senior and family activities to name just a few. The Center is home to Foothill College’s Middlefield Campus and the Jewish Community Center.
