Description: 
Choices for Children, an organization operation a variety of family and provider services which enrich the lives of children and families. We provide the Child Care Subsidy Program which utilizes state and federal funds to provide financial assistance for child care services for families. We also provide referrals to potential child care centers and home providers who may meet family schedules and needs. The Child Care Food Program provides cash reimbursement to licensed family child care providers and CD1/CDC child care center sites for serving nutritious meals to enrolled children, birth - age 12. The nutrition teams in all regions provide technical assistance on the CCFP operation as well as nutrition education for child caregivers, children and families. The Provider Services Program offers programs which improve the quality of child care in the community. Special projects train child care teachers and caregivers, promote the investment in child care in the county and offer services through the Provider Training, Resources and Activity Center (PTRAC).
