Description: Established in 1979, Mid-Peninsula High School is a private, non-profit corporation for grades 9-12. Mid-Peninsula High School gives students an opportunity to reach their full potential - academically as well as personally. Our approach balances a customized academic curriculum with self-knowledge and social awareness, teaching students to manage their lives in the fullest sense. As a small, caring, educational community, we can nurture young people who have different learning styles as well as those who are at risk - rekindling their hopes and skills, providing the flexibility to address their educational and emotional needs, and maintaining a dialogue with parents. Our students grow into capable and self-directed young adults who care, not only about themselves, but also about the larger community. Average class size of 10; average student body size of 150.
