Description: Outreach Paratransit Service provides transportation with taxies or accessible vans. Clients make reservations for trips 1 day to 14 days in advance. Senior Outreach Program provides benefits counseling (social security and other entitlement programs such as Medi-Cal or Medicaid), advocacy and other services (housing and food) to low-income older persons needing assistance getting through bureaucratic red-tape. The Money Management/Representative Payee Program provides money management services (much like banking and budget planning) to persons who are unable to manage their own finances due to a physical or mental disability. This allows disabled persons to remain in their homes with dignity and security.
