Description: The Esther B. Clark (EBC) School, located at The Children's Health Council, is a certified non-public school for children ages 7-16 who have significant learning, behavioral, and emotional challenges. The full-day program combines academics, behavior management, and therapy in an individualized clasroom format. There is a classroom staff to student ratio of 1:4.
All students enrolled in the EBC School are referred by personnel in their school district. Funding administered by the district covers tuition and related auxiliary services such as speech and language therapy and cost of transportation. Additional funds for mental health services are provided through contracts with County Mental Health Departments.
