Lucie Stern Community Center
Description: Rental applications are available by mail, online at www.cityofpaloalto.org/ross/recreation/sternmain.html), or in person during regular business hours. Rooms may be reserved up to twelve months in advance of an event. While available dates may be confirmed in person or over the telephone, an application must be submitted before a date can be reserved. All facility rentals require proof of general liability insurance naming the City as an additional insured for a minimum of $1,000,000. The City can provide this coverage for a fee; please ask the facility coordinator for more information. Lucie Stern has three rooms available for rental: Ballroom, 70 x 40 feet, accommodating 300 assembly, 200 dining; Community Room, 45 x 25 feet accommodating 125 for assemblies and 75 for dining; Fireside Room, 25 x 26 feet, accommodating 70 for assembly and 45 for dining. There is also an outdoor patio.
